Terms of Service

These terms apply to purchases from The Collective's Digital Archive. The seller is Ryan Via, doing business as The Collective's Digital Archive ("we", "us"). By buying from or using this store, you agree to these terms.

1. Digital products. Everything we sell is a digital download. Nothing is shipped. Download links appear on your order confirmation page and are emailed to the address you enter at checkout. Please save your files soon after purchase.

2. Sets and set-only bonuses. A set (bundle) includes the kits or books listed on its product page plus a set-only bonus. A set-only bonus isn't sold separately and comes only with its set. A set includes only the items listed on its page when you buy it; items released after your purchase aren't included.

3. License. Each purchase gives you a non-exclusive license:
- Business kits and books: use in ONE business (yours), including customizing the files and printing them for your own clients. Your employees and contractors may use them for that one business. A second business needs a second license.
- Household kits (marked as household kits on their product pages): use by ONE household (yours). These are: Home Maintenance Checklist, Schedule & Budget Spreadsheet (DPF-014); Hiring a Contractor Checklist & Bid Comparison (DPF-015); Home Renovation Budget Template & Remodel Project Tracker (DPF-016); Home Inventory Spreadsheet & Insurance Claim Log (DPF-017); Family Emergency Binder & Life Admin Organizer (DPF-018); Caregiver Binder & Elder Care Planner for Aging Parents (DPF-019); Assisted Living vs In-Home Care Cost Comparison Worksheet (DPF-020); Subscription Tracker & Spending Audit Spreadsheet (DPF-022); and Paycheck to Paycheck Budget Template & Bill Payment Calendar (DPF-023). People who live in your household may use them. Another household needs a second license.
- A set's bonus is covered by the same license as the set you bought.
Not allowed: you may not resell, share, upload, give away or otherwise distribute the files (edited or unedited), or include them in another product, template pack or course. Each product's included LICENSE-and-Terms file also applies.

4. No professional advice. Our products are general tools and education. They aren't legal, tax, insurance, financial or construction advice. Templates such as agreements and forms are starting points: have a qualified professional review anything you plan to sign or send. Review any AI-generated text before you rely on it or send it. Example figures belong to made-up businesses or households; they are illustrations, not recommendations or predictions. Results depend on your own costs, market, home and decisions, and we don't guarantee any income, savings or result.

5. Refunds. All sales are final. Our kits, books and sets are instant digital downloads, so we don't offer refunds or exchanges once your order is placed. If a download is broken, won't open, is missing or isn't as described, email ryanviabusiness@gmail.com with your order number and we'll send you a working replacement file; for a set, this covers every file in the set. If we can't provide a working file that matches the product description, we'll refund that order. If you bought the same kit, book or set twice by mistake, email us within 14 days of the second order and we'll refund the duplicate order. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under law that can't be waived. Our Refund Policy has the full text.

6. Prices and payment. Prices are in US dollars and are charged through Shopify's checkout. We may change prices for future purchases.

7. Services. Website services are quoted individually. A written quote or agreement will set out scope, price and payment terms before any work starts; those terms apply to the service.

8. Warranties and liability. The files are provided as described on the product page. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim other warranties, and our total liability for any purchase is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under law that can't be waived.

9. Changes. We may update these terms. The version posted when you buy applies to that purchase.
